Scared Hitless

(Disclaimer: This is a new adventure so if my blog is boring, keep looking, it will only get better and better, I mean it's taking time to figure this thing out.)

So a group of friends (also mostly co-workers) have decided to enter into a softball league with the City of Plano. I am literally so excited about this whole league. I mean, I'm not one to 'toot my own horn' but I used to be good, at softball that is. I never played baseball, well except when I was in 4th grade, sad thing is, I didn't get the hang of it until the end of the season. I know, I was the black sheep of the family. I say this because everyone in my family played, except me. I still don't care about that, but I must say that I was pretty decent at it...again talking about softball. That being said, I have not even picked up a glove or a BAT, for that matter, in close to 10 years. Should be interesting. I always think that people who haven't played a sport they were once good at in a long while, well, they tend to believe they are STILL good. Hmmm, I'll report later on my abilities. However, I'm STILL excited. We all have a good time together, even at work, so it should be fun.

By the way, the name of our team is "Scared Hitless", here's a photo of our team shirt. The back will have the person's number and below that, it will say, "...you should be." Good right? Again, I do not 'toot my own horn'. lol
